Join a stable, professional, and growing accounting firm where your expertise truly matters.
We’re looking for a CECCAR Member with hands-on experience in managing full-cycle accounting for local and international companies. If you value professional rigour, autonomy, and collaboration, this might be your next step.

JOB ESSENTIALS
We are a Bucharest-based accounting firm serving international and Romanian clients with full-cycle accounting, payroll, tax advisory, and financial audit services.
We are a member of TAG Alliances – the world’s third-largest global network of independent accounting and law firms.
We work with clarity, speed, and rigour. If you are a highly experienced professional who thrives in execution — not delays — we are ready for you.
❌ THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
You need reminders to meet deadlines.
You’re not comfortable talking to clients, or managing multiple clients at once.
You avoid responsibility or delay decisions.
✅ THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF:
You are a CECCAR member with at least 5 years’ experience.
You deliver high-quality results consistently, not occasionally.
You can handle full-cycle accounting with clarity, independence, and rigour.
You take deadlines personally — and meet them without reminders.
You are fluent in English, and know how to communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and colleagues.
You work well in a structured team, and you’re not afraid to ask questions, offer suggestions, or flag risks early.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple international clients, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly tax declarations (e.g., VAT, income tax) in compliance with Romanian regulations and deadlines.
Draft and file interim/annual financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, etc.), ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.
Liaise with ANAF (Romanian tax authorities) for any audits, inquiries, or compliance matters, handling communications and resolutions professionally.
Interact with clients to provide financial reports, clarify their accounting inquiries, and advise on compliance or accounting issues as needed.
Support advisory or restructuring projects alongside partners, when needed.
Business development: push daily content into the Piroi | Business in Romania mobile app, available on the App Store and coming soon to Google Play Store.
WHAT WE EXPECT
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
Experience: At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a leading accounting firm.
Certification: Active CECCAR membership (mandatory).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Language: Fluent English (written and spoken) is required; additional Romanian fluency is expected for local compliance work.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software; experience transitioning from SAGA to modern tools (Xero/Odoo/NextUp) is a plus.
Accounting Knowledge: Strong command of Romanian accounting standards and tax regulations, with the ability to prepare compliant financial statements and tax filings.
Analytical Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy in working with financial data, and ability to handle multiple client accounts and deadlines.
Communication: Excellent communication and client-service skills, with a professional demeanor when dealing with both clients and authorities.
Work Style: Organised, proactive, and reliable. Able to work independently without supervision.
BENEFITS
We offer a stable, growth-oriented workplace with the following benefits:
Competitive Salary: Net monthly salary in the range of €800–€1,500, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Performance Bonus: After the trial period, monthly bonus of 10% of the value of optional services you deliver to clients.
Professional Development: Support for your growth – we cover the costs of relevant exams such as ACCA if you choose to pursue them.
Advisory and Innovation: Participate in digitalisation and transformation projects, giving you the opportunity to broaden your expertise and drive innovation.
Leadership Access: You will work closely with the firm’s partners and decision-makers, ensuring your ideas are heard and you can quickly get guidance when needed.
Modern Workplace: Office located in central Bucharest (near the Government building), in a professional setting, with international exposure and direct access to decision-makers.
