The ordinance sets a regulated tariff of €1.50/MWh (excluding VAT) to be applied by Transelectrica S.A., Romania’s national electricity transmission company. This tariff applies to all scheduled energy exchange transactions involving neighbouring countries, including:

  • Imports

  • Exports

  • Transit operations

The measure standardises pricing and provides clarity for regional energy operators coordinating with Romania’s power grid.
